The OLMs (Ordained Local Ministers) within the Benefice are:
Jenny is the OLM at Holy Cross, but also ministers throughout the United Benefice. In summer 2008 she retired from her paid career as a teacher at Reculver Church of England Primary School, and is in the throes of seeing how and where her retirement time and ministry develops.
She is married to Brian, who is a farmer in Hoath, and they have two grown up sons, both of whom were married in 2007, by Jenny, in Holy Cross.

The Reverend Jenny Hadlow
The Reverend Barbara Nicholson.
Barbara was born in Southborough, Kent in 1939, grew up during the austerity years after the war and developed a love of the Lord Jesus from an early age. She was educated at Tunbridge Wells County Grammar and attended St. Thomas Church and helped as a teenager with the Sunday School and Brownies. She then trained as a Primary School Teacher in 1957 at an Anglican Training College outside Norwich and taught for 7 years in Gravesend and Northfleet where she met her husband Paul, a Pharmacist. They came down to live in Chestfield, Kent and then moved to Herne Bay, Kent in 1973 where their son and two daughters grew up. During this time Barbara spent most of her spare time in all types of lay ministries at St. John's Swalecliffe and St. Mary's Reculver. Barbara studied basic theology by correspondence with St. John's Nottingham including Pastoral Counselling; and in 1991 trained for two years to become a Licensed Reader.
At the time when Barbara was exploring the possibility of ordained ministry the Canterbury Diocese encouraged parishes to raise up priests from within their community who would train locally under a new training scheme and remain as assistant priests in their own parishes. Barbara was selected for this ministry and was ordained Deacon in 2002 and as a priest by Archbishop Rowan the following year. Barbara ministers throughout the United Benefice.
Barbara loves singing and choral music. Together Barbara and Paul enjoy motor camping and have also had the opportunity to travel extensively to different parts of the world. They have great delight and joy their four grandchildren.
